- Born in South West Africa/Namibia in 1961 - went to school in Grahamstown, St Andrew's - joined the miltary, Permanent Force, Airborne - Pathfinder in the late seventies and onto the 80's. I remain a child of the Namib - Swakopmund is my spiritual home - radically in love with the mountains and wilderness extremes - skyrunning - unashamed follower and disciple of Y'shua - Lord Jesus. I've been working in security for Reconstruction and Development in Iraq since October 2004 - presently working from central Baghdad, which is doing wonders for adventure and faith in God.
