My primary interest is tracking the competitors in a harsh environment.

Tracking some bits

I have used in UK and RSA http://www.3dtracking.net lots.

If your cell has an inbuilt GPS or can talk to a Bluetooth one then it might be for you.

Snag is it needs a cell signal, but it should see the system every once in a while when your not expecting it up there. Also when it does see a signal it will transmit all position reports that it has missed since the last report.

Look at products and drill down to freetracking i think it is.

Nic will hopefully test it in his area soon.

I believe the fastest female team time to complete the Grand Traverse.
