They have had to camp last night because of a huge storm and are currently struggling to find a way down through rock bands in the mist from midway on the ridgeline running between the Thamatu ridge and Thaba Koto peak. they have 18 Km to go from here but have been advised to backtrack 1.5 Km to get down. Not easy in the mist.

Wednesday 17:30 Laura and Fiona are 25 Km from Bushman's Nek and are still hoping to finish in the course of the night.

Andrew and I ended our attempt on Mafadi just under 23 hours after leaving the Sentinel carpark. This represents reaching a point just shy of halfway in under 24 hours.
